Chrome concentrate

Metallurgical-grade chromite concentrate recovered from the Bushveld Igneous Complex — the LG and MG chromitite seams that hold roughly three quarters of the world's known chrome resource. Our longest-running line, and the one with the most detailed specification on file.

Typical volumes and parcel sizes

Trial parcel

500 t — approximately eighteen 20 ft containers. The standard opening order for a new counterparty, and the parcel we prefer for a first transaction on both sides.

Containerised

27 – 28 t net per 20 ft container, loose or in bulk bags. Shipped in multiples of a full container; no part loads.

Breakbulk / bulk

5,000 t minimum parcel for a bulk nomination, built in 500 t increments against a confirmed laycan.

Monthly availability is quoted per enquiry against current mine-gate allocation. Ask for the current position rather than assuming it.

Delivery terms

Quoted DAP to a named place of delivery, FOB Durban, Richards Bay or Maputo, and CIF to main Far East and Indian subcontinent discharge ports. Incoterms® 2020 throughout.

Thermal coal RB1, RB2 and RB3 export grades, 4,800 – 5,850 kcal/kg NAR, screened and washed to buyer specification. Domestic grades on request. HS 2701.12 / 2701.19

Chrome, other fractions Lumpy and friable chrome ore, and chemical-grade concentrate, where a buyer specification calls for it. HS 2610.00

Manganese ore Lumpy and fines from the Kalahari manganese field. Mn 36 % and up, sized to buyer requirement, railed to Durban or Port Elizabeth. HS 2602.00

Magnetite Dense medium separation and coal-washing grades, plus iron-bearing concentrate. Specific gravity and sizing to specification. HS 2601.11

Rare earths Rare earth concentrates and oxides against a confirmed buyer mandate. Specification, assay and route agreed per parcel before offer. HS 2530.90 / 2846

Sulphur Granular and lump sulphur, bulk or bagged in container, to fertiliser and chemical buyers. HS 2503.00

Mining chemicals Reagents and process chemicals for mineral processing, supplied in container to specification and packing requirement. On enquiry

Gold Transacted only through licensed South African channels and accredited refineries, against a confirmed mandate on both sides. HS 7108

Other niche minerals Tungsten and similar lines on enquiry. If it moves in bulk or in container and there is a buyer at the other end, ask. On enquiry
